Well, not exactly. A majority voting in this poll who've bought the book are using the material. Sadly, that's not the same thing ;)

We have been happy with results so in our home campaign. :)
Good to know.
One of my players wants to mulitclass ASAP into one of the psionic classes (perhaps prestige - he plays a monk and aims for the Fist of Zuoken...). He wanted to play a psionic character back in the days of 3.0, but I didn't allow that ;)

I do not own the book. I do not want the book. Even if my players gave me the book I would not use it. Why? Because I don't like using psionics in my fantasy games. While they work great in a science fiction game, I just find it out of place in a fantasy game. When I play Traveller, or Gamma World, or Villains and Vigilantes I expect there to be psionics characters, it's part of the genre. For me, at least, that is not the case when it comes to fantasy.

I purchased the XPH and have not regretted it yet. The gm in our campaign is a fan of psionics, much to my relief. I am keen on creating a psion or a soulknife character. It's nice to have some pleasant enthusiasm.

I like a LOT of what it did. Augments, power points, abilities that originate from magic, and an excellent specialization mechanic that does more than give you an extra spell/day.

That said, I'm not too choosy about my magic systems. I've got Psionics next to Magi next to Vancian next to Wheel of Time next to Arcana Unearthed. Anything that's balanced with the core system I'll use; the variations are cultural (e.g.: the psionics hail from the Vedic-style kingdom, the Vancian system from the more Feudal, while AU's magisters come from Nyambe-tandaa, and FFd20's Magi come from the moon).

Don't forget, that the majority of people who bought the book, bought it for that very reason! ;)

Bye
Thanee

I'm certainly using it... for bad guys! :]

My players are welcome to also use it, but they're fairly set in their current characters.
