Do you want more 4e classes, races, feats, powers, etc?

Races? I've definitely had enough.

Classes? There are a few gaps left (necromancer, f'rinstance), but I'm mostly full of them too.

Powers and feats? Never enough. Bring 'em on.

I have been pondering lately if I really care what comes in future 4e releases when it comes to classes, races, feats, powers etc.

Just after the PHB was published I felt like the amount of material was a bit thin. I was overjoyed to see things like Martial Power, Arcane Power, Divine Power and PHB2. Those books added so much material that I felt like I had a bazillion choices.

As PHB3 and further expansions are coming, my attitude has changed. I really don't care if they stop publishing new material like that. The same thing happened in 3.5.

(On the other hand I am really pleased every time I see a new module, campaign setting or other tools that are actually helping the role playing going, but that is a bit off topic here...)
I am looking forward to Elemental and Shadow classes, thinking of stuff like Necromancers and Illusionists and some Con-based class focusing on Elemental Transformations and Conjurations.

I really don't know what they could make other than, more of the same kind of stuff, so, I'm for more of everything.

I like that Game Table thing above; I use Master Plan right now for my solo-party-crawls, and I like it a lot.

I'd personally like to see something pertaining to world building, given that I've been picking and choosing amongst different settings.

Another Monster Manual, like with the monsters in all the Dragon and Dungeon magazines.

Maybe a book with all the feats in it.

In all, I'd rather see them expand on powers, feats, and builds, then come up with a bunch more niche classes and races.

More of everything is fine by me.

PHB3 showed me that new classes should probably only be introduced along side new mechanics. Otherwise they feel like simply additions that could be done to existing classes through the 'Power' books.

Can't go wrong with more feats, powers and races.

Unlike the general view above, I'd like to see a lot more races to choose from. Monster converted races, winged ones, large sized ones with reach, etc. While it can be tough to balance, I'm sure it is possible. A flying race for example may have no ability score boosts as a trade-off.

I want a friggin' Con/Int supported race, why can we have so many damnable Str/Con races but 0 Con/Int races? I think it's the only combo not represeted at the table.

Oh, and give me a book or something of monster races, I want all those races that are in the CB to be actually playable with a full write-up. Well...except Bullywugs, I hate the frogmen.

I'd like one new class, or at least a new build: The true Utility+Buff Wizard referred to in another current thread (hmm, can't find it...) So that's just ONE new class... Except, about a million other people want just ONE NEW CLASS, and there may not be a lot of overlap. So to keep us all happy, they need several thousand new classes.

Thematically, I like what they have been doing with the Style-type feats (see MP2), but it seems like they are deliberately making them all weak. They ought to serve a purpose beyond just rehabilitating weak powers from PHB1.

I don't want to see more races especially, but more racial feats and options would be awesome. I'd love to see them support characters for whom race, not class, is the primary distinguishing trait, both in terms of flavor and of mechanics. The Dragonborn book sounds like it is a step in that direction.

I'd also like to see some feats related to magic item creation, so that more DMs would feel comfortable letting characters off the leash. Maybe an Unearthed Arcana approach -- optional rules for component- and/or reciped-based crafting, wild-magic crafting (you get the item you meant to craft, but it may have quirks or side-effects).

Oh and I'd love for them to actually support the classes/races they currently offer,

Yeah I'm looking at you changeling and assassin... oh man why did I play a changeling assassin.

Because you wanted to play a changeling rogue and had a misconception of what the assassin was.

I have no idea why people would be against more options.

I certainly don't need any more PC options. I could play for many years with the options currently available. After Monster Manual III, I might not need any more monsters. And this is why the RPG industry has an impossible business model.

20+ years on the same business model would beg to disagree.

Also, just because you don't want it, doesn't mean it's not a good product that will make money.

I plan on buying each additional MM and PHB until the new edition.
