Does a Wall of Force need anchor points?

Hello all, very simle question. It doesn't state that a Wall of Force needs anchor points in the 3.0 SRD, and I've found nothing in the FAQ to that effect. The only specification is that it must be vertical. Had it been clarified anywhere?

No anchor points necessary.

And neither does it offer any saving throw (for the 3.0 sphere / hemisphere option)... Trapped creatures galore!
