Does anyone else get withdrawls?

It's been over a year since I have been able to game...

And the last time was only a quickie.

It's actually been 3 years since I was in a steady gaming group.

*sigh*

I get withdrawls from just not being the GM...not gaming is just plaing ugly.

If table-top gaming is not an option, have you looked into online games?

Try getting into YB or YBA at the fight club forum on these boards. It might provide that little bit of gaming you need to help get you through these times.

Strangely enough, my wife tells me that I get cranky and irritable when I haven't gamed for several weeks. I don't see it, but she's forcibly arranged gaming sessions for me in the past if it's been several weeks and our group has been unable to get together.

Did I mention I love that woman?

Three months inbetween wrapping my last campaign and starting my new one. I spent the time writting a 64 page adventure that my Players are not working their way through. Yeah I got withdrawls but I find that working on something game related curbs them. Kind of like weening yourself off of heroine.

i have a great game i am playing with in a group that is largely composed of college friends, but is online.

i get to game once a week most weeks, for 5-7 hours and i am STILL jonesing. i want a live game to, but the closest i can find is some monthly living greyhawk here in memphis

YEah- ever since I graduated, my college friends have moved oiut of the immediate area. The ones that are left don't really game much.

Withdrawals- Heck yeah. I have been buying every product (d20) and reading through them, thinking of great things I can do as a char and a DM. I create char sheets for various levels and junk them. Char concepts galore.

But not a game in sight. But hey- I have memorized the rules pretty well...

edit: online games are pretty ... eh... i miss the ol' mat and minis.
