Does bull's Str stack with Belt of Str?

It's only uber in that virtually nothing else increases DC.

That doesnt make it uber, that only makes it 'one of the few that can still do it' ;)

I mean look at the cost of a cooperative spell (a complete simultaneous action from another spellcaster and a slot of the same level - and that only powers up one spell and you both need a feat.)

Cooperative spell is a pretty worthless feat. I dont think it should be used as a benchmark for anything really..lol

An extra couple of points of dc at a cost likely wont be a huge deal, especially since it is so incredibly hard to raise dc to begin with.

Now, again, I have not seen it in action. But just looking it over it looks like a whole lot of resources being used to get the effect. You named at least two different classes working together on a specific goal. The result was indeed very impressive, but it definately took some planning and some resources to get it done.

Still though, double chance for a dispel to work (if it effects either of the two spells) and all of the other factors. Very impressive results though ;)

"Each cleric must choose a time at which he must spend 1 hour each day in quiet contemplation or supplication to regain his daily allotment of spells." - SRD
Then again, there's some leeway.
"If some event prevents a character from praying at the proper time, he must do so as soon as possible." -SRD

Getting bonus spell slots in the middle of the day seems like gray area here.

Pfft, how'd I miss this? There's also:
"A divine spellcaster does not have to prepare all his spells at once." -SRD

Divine casters have to prepare their spell slots at a fixed time once per day. This is the only time, when they can refresh their spell slots.

Only if some outside influence prevents them from their prayer (and that is not, oh I think this is more important, I have to do that right away, but more like being unconsious, or being captured and bound, or something similar, which makes it absolutely impossible to pray for spells), they can delay the time to the very next chance they get.

Like a wizard, they do not have to fill the slots all at once, they can leave some open to do so later during the day.

But what has this to do with Bull's Strength? ;)

Maybe they're discussing it because it's another example of something that, when combined with BS, doesn't increase the total bonus to Str? :p

Good question. Does he stack with an enhancement bonus to Str? Hm. I guess he just might, avatar of Hruggek and all...

That's a good question. I've always let the Periapt give the bonus spells, simply because it doesn't say that you don't get them. The spell specifically states that you don't. *shrugs* I'd be interested in hearing how other DM's rule on that.

Items that buff spellcasting scores grant bonus spell slots if worn for the entire day, in my games.
