Does Saga Edition make anyone else jones for Star Wars in general?

First Post
So I've read the Star Wars Saga Edition book cover to cover now (which is pretty much unheard of for me, usually I just skim the parts of a book that I need to know or find interesting) and it's really, really got my jonesing for some SW. I watched the entire prequel trilogy today (sadly I only have the original trilogy on VHS, and no VCR currently hooked up)...

I don't really consider myself a big Star Wars geek... I mean, I like it, but I haven't actually seen any of the movies since they were in theaters (the special editions that came out in 1997, in the case of the original trilogy) and I've never read any of the books or anything... Only other stuff Star Wars stuff I've partook of were video games. But now I can't stop thinking about it. I'm even debating picking up Star Wars minis, which is an additiction I absolutely cannot afford!

This happen to anyone else?

Yes, the same thing happens to me too, and I realy only like EPs IV and V.

Same here. I've never been a big Star Wars geek and only liked the original trilogy. But now my girlfriend (who I introduced to Star Wars at large just one month ago) and me are hooked and we can't wait to try out Saga Edition!

Cheers, Marcus

Yeah. But it really makes me nostalgic for the epic Star Wars campaign I ran in college, when the prequels were still just a rumor everyone hoped was true.

But it's not really the Saga edition that's got me jonesing, it's everyone talking about it.

Give in to the Dark Side. You're now a Star Wars fan. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

:D

I've got 4 roomates right now who just re-installed Jedi Academy II, and one who started playing both KoTOR games again....

Yes. I've always been more DnD/D20 modern kind, but now I have clone troopers mins ready, book readed, adventure in the head, seen the new trilogy five times in last two weeks and ready to go!

Yeah I think WotC did a really good job with this product (and boy has it been a long time since I felt that way about one of their products.). I am already planning a game set in the Star Wars "Legacy" timeline and will be stating up the equipment , ships, etc. that I've seen in that era so far. My game starts next week, so I've got plenty of time and I think playing in this era alleviates any issues with continuity or setting structure I might run into with other eras.

Hey, you know what this thread just made me remember I never did finish playing KotOR on Xbox, I think I'll check that out today.
