Dollhouse #11:Briar Rose/Season 1/2009

Truth Seeker

Adventurer
Briar Rose

Echo uses the story of "Sleeping Beauty" to help a young girl overcome a past trauma, but does the story foreshadow Echo's own future? Meanwhile, Ballard may have found the original designer of the Dollhouse, Adelle goes to the attic for answers, and Alpha reveals himself and his endgame.

Alan Tudyk was fantastic in this episode. Of course, he had some great lines (I loved the whole "medicinal carrots" bit), but he played his part exceptionally well -- I especially loved his walk down the stairs while worrying that a hand was going to grab his ankles. This was a great episode!

And I caught that bit about "whiskey" as well. Just how many dolls are there at that Dollhouse, do we know? Do they have provisions for having more than 26 dolls at any one location? (Do they start doubling up letters, like "Alpha Alpha" and "Alpha Bravo," or do they go plunder other alphabets, so we'd get "Epsilon" and "Psi" and such?)

As for Victor, with his facial cuts so deep, I can't imagine he'll be used as a doll all that much any more; he'll probably be relegated to "in-house" use in those instances when you need to bring the personalities/memories of NSA moles out from the Attic and such.

Well I was disapointed in the security that was only as good as the speed of plot. This is what lost me on Heroes, where plot chalenges exist based solely on the stupidity of the main characters.
