No offense to the Yank soldiers overseas, but I'd like to see our brave Canuck soldiers get some gaming goodies. Those poor jerks need a break, considering that even our government doesn't appriciate them.

I personally will never buy from Tallon comics again due to this thread. There are far more needy people in the world then the US military.

Yeah! Stupid US military. What has it ever done for anyone besides save the world from the Nazis and later, the commies.

I just added 2 sets from orc and pie games (my soon-to-be FLGS shop I'm starting).

My father and uncle are both in the PA National Guard and I know I would be greatly depressed if my family was sent overseas, but I'd be very greatful if they had a community like this that sent them stuff.

It doesn't have to do with need. It has to do with showing appreciation for those who serve to ensure we retain the freedom to run off at the mouth.

Not a bad idea at all. There are plenty of Canadians on these boards and at Nutkinland; I don't see why such an effort wouldn't get a big response also. Same goes with the UK. Perhaps someone could spearhead the effort for their respective countries?
