Hi

I cant remember if this has been discussed before (actually i think it has). But does the +2 bonus to dexterity allow acces to feats?
the bonus is a supernaturally enchancement bonus, and that is why i am in doubt.

specifically whe have a dwarf in our campaign aiming for dwarven defender, but he needs a dex boost to get the dodge feat.

AFAIK, the bonuses listed for the Celerity domain are usable once per day each for 1 minute.

Can someone check the errata?

I didn't think there were any official errata for DotF...

And a search on the DotF FAQ for 'Celerity' didn't reveal any changes.

Regardless of how long the bonus lasts for, I'm pretty sure it can be used to qualify for feats for as long as it lasts.

Consider the reverse: a rogue who is poisoned with a dex-damaging poison might drop to a 12 dexterity; suddenly, she loses her dodge feat, since she no longer meets its prerequisites. As soon as she heals back up to a 13 dex, she regains access to the feat.

A character may gain a feat that she does not always have access to, if she believes that she'll have access enough to it for it to be worthwhile.

Although the rules don't specifically cover this situation (I think), I'd allow a dex 11 character to take the dodge feat, with the understanding that she'll only be able to use it when someone casts cat's grace on her (or otherwise improves her dex score).
