Draconomicon: Because WOTC knows I still have money left

Although there were some major problems with both the mechanics and the premise, I always thought Council of Wyrms was an interesting setting. I'd love a chance to run a one-shot [using 3.5 rules in general and the Draconomicon in particular] with the starting adventure from that book...where the adventure begins with the PC dragons hatching.

In that particular setting, dragon PCs would be an interesting option...I'd be tempted to tweak the setting so that half-dragons were not outcasts, but rather a sort of intermediate aristocracy --- below the dragons but above the gnomes, dwarves, and elves. Each dragon clan would include its half-dragon offspring and extended family, and each player would control both a dragon and a half-dragon vassel.

What old Gem Dragons? They're already out for both the web enhancement for the Psionic Handbook and again in MM2. Unless you mean some more esoteric dragons than those?

Hey! one PC in my game is a half-dragon (topaz). Because of this I granted her the ability to breathe underwater. :D

What does that have to do with the ability to plane shift to the elemental planes and an implied semi-permanent residence there?

Hopefully this time without all that elemental plane wierdness.
I liked the Elemental Plane stuff. I mean how many giant, town eating, gold hoarding lizards can fit on one prime material plane. I have enough problems with the regular MM ones. :p

Depends. Is the prime material plane a planet, or is it the entire known physical universe? :)
