Andy Collin's Draconomicon discussion on his boards. You can learn things there.

Thanks for the link.

Therefrom, the list of prestige classes:

dracolyte
dragon stalker
dragonkith (revised from Dragon magazine)
dragonrider
dragonsong lyrist
dragonslayer
hoardstealer
initiate of the draconic mysteries
platinum knight
talon of tiamat

Good to see the dragonslayer in there...I assume dracolyte = sorcerer, dragon stalker = ranger, lyrist = bard, hoardstealer = rogue, and initiate = cleric.

Yep, I'm buyin' another book...

Really, I'm 3.5ing it... just give me a chance! ;)

Hi CRGreathouse ! Thanks for this cool program.

When using it with mozilla the ' < / script > ' at line 46 is evaluated and everything that follows is dumped to the html page. When I cut this part (which is just for IE) it works fine. Is it a mozilla bug ?

Damn! I'd come up with a faux-Draconomicon like, a year ago, in preparation for when they finally announced this baby. And now that it's drawing near, my computer has crashed, and I am unable to tantalize you with fantasy spoilers. Let me say just one thing: I was going to say 'sample dragon at each age category, with full hoard.' I figured WotC would never do it, so it'd be something great to imagine.

I've been awaiting this book since GenCon 2000. Hopefully I'll see a large, book-shaped package under the Christmas tree this year.

But one rumor I did hear was that they were going to have a web enhancement that showcases the hundreds of different dragons from stories, myths, and legends of our own world. The real Tarrasque, the fire dragon Beowulf fought, the Midgard Serpent, and even a nod to Puff. ;)

No, I didn't actually hear that

It would have been the real Tarasque.

Well, me, I just did hear that. From you!

Say, don't you still owe us some classes that you "heard" about in Tome & Blood? :)

It'd be a good idea to get those knocked off before you devote yourself to a web enhancement detailing dragons from myth. :)

I'd forgotten all about that!

buggers stole my ideas for savage species dragon style!

Those age categories shoot the usual progressions all to hell...but I'm sure some of the greatest minds in gaming are working on it.

I read through the old Council of Wyrms last night...man, there's still some groovy ideas in there. Second Edition just wasn't well equipped for that sort of thing...3.5 is.

hardly.

I've a got a nice lil system I don't mind sharing. Basically you take the grand mamma jamma dragon: Great Ancient Wyrm and then take on the LA for it to equal it's ECL.

Then from there you just do a savage species breakdown of it. at every place where the age category changes, say your dragon goes from wyrmling to young at 10HD. At it's 10th level it ages a category and then you break down the next category accordingly until it hits the next changeover.

with this method you are getting all the benefits of each category staggered throughout the appropirate 'levels' in the race. As you gain XP you get better and better.

Granted your PC will have an ECL in the high 40's or low 50's but then again who said playing a dragon was easy or simple! :D
