Dragon #294 in today!

Actually, it does say that his avatars cannot leave his prison either. Apparently he creates them to provide himself with company :p

And it goes on about how one of his avatar's is supposedly trapped on the Material Plane somewhere.

I still don't see how [Iuz] has strength 42!? Perhaps hes taking multiple Epic Feat increases to strength!?
Alter Form and Alter size, maybe? *shrug*

Regarding Tharizdun I would have hoped that the Divine Rank 11 was the Avatar! Its a sad, sad day for fans of the Gord the Rogue novels to see te once mighty Tharizdun sunk so low! :(
Well, he is imprisoned so it kinda figures, I guess...

It's ok...it just confused the heck out of me, causing my mind to spin downward into chaos--something Tharizdun would smile at, I'm sure. :D

Heh. Makes me want to insert some confusing texts in you-know-which-adventure. :D

Does the information on Rao include the Crook of Rao?

It's covered in the Living Greyhawk Journal section, along with The Chalice of Everlasting, Druniazth (Claw of Tharizdun), and Kuroth's Quill.

They note that "a future issue of the Living Greyhawk Jornal will contain a complete list of all known artifacts on Oerth."

Iuz normally has 2 forms a wizened old man and a huge demonic form.

If you were to factor in the strength and constitution ups for say moving from medium to say huge or bigger that strength stat seems pretty reasonable.

Just because Graz'zt isn't enormous doesn't mean that Iuz doesn't take after Kostochie or Fraz'urb'luu
