I haven't resubscribed to the magazines due to the horror stories I've heard about subscriptions always being late. What is Paizo doing to improve subscriptions?

I don't know all the details (I can't be in charge of _everything_ at Paizo, after all ::smile::), but my understanding is that we're now (as of 326 or 327) stagger shipping the magazines, starting with subscribers, then to game distributors, and then to the newsstand in general (we're talking about a difference of a couple of days in each case). I've lately heard an unusual number of people talking about receiving their magazines before their game store did, with the most recent issue in particular. I'm interested to hear how things look from the current subscriber's point of view. Did the magazines seem to arrive a little earlier this time? Did you beat your game store? We'll keep working on this until it is solved, but as long as the post office is involved, we can't control every single variable.

I really want to re-subscribe to Dungeon, as I've bought every issue since the format change. And thanks for putting more Greyhawk in my Dungeon. Now, all I need is a series of Creature Catalog articles updating some of the core Greyhawk monsters.

Thanks in advance for subscribing. If I have my way, there will be lots of Creature Catalog articles in the very near future. What "iconic" monsters do you miss most?

p.s. The first Greyhawk map (of the set of 4) rocks! Can't wait for the rest of it. After that, I'd recommend Dungeon doing a series of city maps based on Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, and Eberron.

Those are all worthy ideas. I'd love to do something like that, and already have tentative plans along those lines. I'm also really hoping to do a ton of posters for the new Adventure Path, once we get a working outline ready to go.

Hmm, good question. I guess I don't have any particular favorites. Plus, I don't know, 100%, whether or not certain creatures have been converted in certain products or not. I'm pretty sure about the ones below.

I'd definitely like some of the "Classic Greyhawk" creatures updated such as: Animus (as a template), Beastman, Bonesnapper, Booka, Buckawn, Camprat, Crystalmist, Dragonnel, Flail Snail, Greyhawk Dragon, Grugach, Grung, Losel, Mist Wolf, Norker, Ingundi, Kech, Tyrg, and Valley Elves.

Now, I'm also a big Mystara fan, and I wouldn't mind an update of many of the more "Classic Mystara" monsters such as: Actaeon, Baldandar, Bargda, Chevall, Darkwing, Dragon (Crystalline, Jade, Onyx, Ruby), Dusanu, Ebon Tiger, Frost Salamander, Gyerian, Hephaeston Giant, Hutaakan, Kna, Living Statues, Mek, Nagpa, Nuckalavee, Pegataur, Phanaton, Rakasta, Shark-kin, Tabi, Thoul, Thunderhead, and Wyrd.

Note that I didn't include Diabolus, Lupin and Tortle becuase those have been done already in one form or another. I wasn't sure about the Rakasta. Were they done as a "Winning Race" in Dragon #323. (The website preview for that issue doesn't list the name given for that issues winning race.)

Cheers!

With Istivin appearing in the December 04 and January 05 issues, I wonder. Is this going to be the new Adventure Path (like Shackled City)? BTW I love the map Mr. Mona, thanks for such a beautiful piece of art. I think though, the quality of the paper is inferior to the kind used for the 4 part FR map. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Elder Wyrm!

The armor that's incredibly difficult to hit or damage and when you finally do, it blows up! (Gumorai Armor or something...)

In short, anythying from the previous 3 creature collections from Dragon Magazine that haven't been updated to 3.5 yet (heck, some of 'em didn't get an official 2nd edition update...)

Denizens of Ed's Hells revised and updated to 3.5. Arioch anyone?

The istivin thing is a 3 adventure series. Sort of a mini-Adventure Path. I don't think Erik and the rest of the Paizoites have announced what the new Adventure Path is going to be.

Cheers!

FWIW -- I got my Dungeon #118. In fact, I got two; and I got two of #117, too (which I had thought was odd, but had never had time to ask about it). Apparently, when I renewed, I actually started a new subscription.

I emailed customer service about it, and they notified me this evening that the two subs were combined, & my renewal was credited for the double issues I got.

Paizo rocks.
