I enjoyed the interview with Ed. The fiction was ok, but I'm not a huge proponent of fiction that doesn't have some kind of stats/...in it (like the monster hunters!) The article on lizardfolk was good. I enjoyed the bard college article (fiction and stats - like Ed suggested in his interview). Haven't gotten to the rest of the magazine yet.
I agree the "article" on waterdeep was more of a review of the publishing history.
The cover was really, really boring, and next month's looks like another pose. The Dungeon covers show action now, when will the Dragon covers get better (the art is good, it's just a boring subject to see a pose).
One thing I'd like is more 3d views of cites. The top views are nice, but the side/3d views help me picture it. the only problem with this is that the art view rarely matches the top view map and the description (a pet peeve of mine, especially when monsters are described a certain way and then the picture is totally different).
