You might be thinking of Odd Alley in Greyhawk, that opens into the multiplanar bazaar Weird Way, where Chert and Gord had a short adventure in "A Weird Occurrence at Odd Alley."

Which mysteriously is an awful lot like Fafhrd's and the Grey Mouser's misadventure in the Bazaar of the Bizarre ...

Places with doors to other worlds isn't exactly an original idea. Hasn't been for centuries. Maybe even thousands of years.

The only way to be original is with the context in which it is used.

An article on a city of my own creation on Carceri's layer of Colothys (where the members of the city's various social strata are quite literally above or below one another, suspended between the sides of a massive chasm)
An article on a city of my own creation on Carceri's layer of Porphatys (sort of like a frigid, acidic, fiendish Venice)

Well I hope it has something, anything, to do with yugoloths because I am personally tired of Dragon Magazine ignoring those fiends.

But if not, I won't be disappointed. Anything Planescape-related will make me happy.

I forgot since it's been a while. But again I'm looking forward to seeing the World Serpent's Inn again. That's always been my favorite travel spot in any world.
