Dragon #350

For anyone who has #350 yet, what are the holy texts for Wee Jas in the article on her? The ones for Vecna were rather nice, so I'm curious about the ones given for everyone's favorite Acheron dwelling deity of magic and death.

The Abominable Devastation is a heretical text that implies that Wee Jas allowed the Sueloise defenses to fail when the Rain of Colorless Fire fell upon the empire.

The White Book details ancient Sueloise funerary rites, ranging from the rites for a commoner all the way up to the highest social strata. If properly enacted, these rites prevent the body from rising as undead.

Gwy,

Since you're in an answering kind of mood, care to answer the following: any listings of say a prominent enemy deity/power/fiend or ally among the "divine" for Wee Jas?

The templates for the arcane pollutions: care to give more details to us, like powers, abilities, etc.

Details on the Corrupted Template.

Details on the Oversoul and where one might locate it? ;)

You know, I was thinking about a world with only Wee Jas and Erythnul as gods (a bit of a grim world). I think I will get this magazine for the Wee Jas stuff.

Has there been a Dragon mag. that similarly focuses on Erythnul?

Particle,

Not yet but considering the fact about 1/3 of the "core" gods have been covered, (Vecna, Pelor, Wee Jas, and Odimmila(sp), I'm sure there's one more but I forget), I'd say it's even odds for 2007.

Boz,

Hey I just want the good crunch man, not the entire magazine. ;)

Didn't the World Serpent Inn first show up in the City of Greyahwk? I seem to remember a world/dimension travelling, or maybe just linked Inn in the City of G. It could also have been mentioned in the Gord books.

So if it wasn't the World Serpent Inn does anybody know what my brain kind of remembers?

You might be thinking of Odd Alley in Greyhawk, that opens into the multiplanar bazaar Weird Way, where Chert and Gord had a short adventure in "A Weird Occurrence at Odd Alley."

There is that, of course, but Treebore may be thinking of my Living Greyhawk Journal map and articles, where yes indeed the World Serpent Inn does have a connection to the City of Greyhawk. Apparently ::grin:: the WSI also connects with the City of Irongate.

Congrats, Shemy on the article! You're not the only one here with supernatural knowledge of that issue, as well. We're appearing in the same issue together. ;-) I co-wrote the article on Irongate.
