Dragon bone bow question

When one forges a bow from a bone of a dragon, the benefit is mainly the added range, correct? I was wondering, does this added range apply to pointblank shot and other related abilities(with the 30 ft increment implied), or just increase the ranged abilities of the bow itself?

I'm not sure where Dragon Bone comes from, but I would almost assuredly say it does not affect things like PBShot, since feats like Far Shot do not either.

Dragonbone: Draconomicon IIRC. No, Point blank range is usually never affected by something like that.

i don't really remember anything but range increase ... um, was it also a str bow?

Right, page 117. It's a strength bow and the range increment is increased by 20ft.

The 30ft limit is not a range increment.
