That's actually a pretty decent build - you'll likely want that to go Sor-1/Pal-4/DD 10/AC 5 rather than Pal-4/Sor-1/DD 10/AC 5, just to minimize the number of Cross-class skill points you'll have to spend (also, pick up Able Learner at 1st, so you don't have to focus on Int at all), but it'll do the job quite well. You lose four points of BAB, of course... but that still leaves you with all four iterative attacks.

Yeah, I should make that explicit: the builds I've been posting all top out at BAB +16, which is what you need to hit by 20th level if you want to have 4 iterative attacks.

If you're not playing with fractional BAB, you can't afford to have your last 5 levels anything except full BAB.

I strongly suggest the Battle Sorcerer variant if you are going to follow the other advice in this thread. It allows casting in light armor and you can burn a feat to get casting in medium armor (mithral full plate!)

What is it with all the dragon threads?

Dungeons and . . . help me out here. ;)

I recommend not taking any of the low or med BAB classes (Bard, Sorcerer, Beguiler, etc.) when making a Dragon Disciple. DD is basically a melee class. Those extra slots are just a flavor. So I prefer to use either Hexblade or Duskblade to meet the prerequisite. Either start from single-class Hexblade 5 or Duskblade 5, or Just use some levels of them and multi-class with other full-BAB classes such as barbarian, fighter or Paladin.

One of my friend is playing a Warforged Paladin/Duskblade/DD. He is a very efficient tank as he has tons of HPs and high AC, and of course high Str. After finishing DD, he is aiming to take Pious Templar (of Bahamut).

That's a very interesting approach.

IMO the use of wraithstrike is well worth giving up 1 BAB (Battle Sorc 4), but if you don't intend to rely on that spell then I can see efficiency arguments.
