I paid for YouTube Red / Premium for a while. After a recent review and culling of subscriptions, I cancelled it. Really having problems adjusting to regular Youtube. The poorly placed advertisements, inability to play YouTube in the background or with the screen locked/off on my phone, inability to download video has made YouTube unusable. But other than a small number of channels, I mostly just don't use YouTube anymore.

Usually I just leave my phone laying down on the desk while I listen on headphones.
