Dragonball & DBZ

If you tuned in last night for Dragonball & DBZ, you found Gundam & GI Joe instead. While I like the fact they brought back GI Joe, droping DB & DBZ right in the middle of the Buu Saga is not a great marketing idea.

Umm... I watched them last night as usual from 6-7. Are you sure they were cut? Especially after they purchased the rights to 30+ new episodes of each.

EDIT:

Ah, now I know what you mean, they cut them from midnight run. it makes sense, because as it was each episode was played three times in a 24 hour period. It premeried at the 6:30pm slot, then reran in the midnight to 1:30 slot, and was replayed again at the 4:30 slot on the day after its premerie.

So it wasn't cut, just moved down to 2 showings to allow other programs to air.

Yeah, I noticed that, too (would have appreciated some warning). But I wouldn't say that the series have been "dropped" since they're still on earlier (DBZ is on at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm Central).
