Human Fighter/Steel Legion Knight
Half-Ogre Fighter/Steel Legion Knight
Qualinesti Elf Druid
1. It starts 1 DAY after the War of Souls. The God are back and it's almost immediatly aparant. Word amount the Steel Knights based in Haven is that a funeral is to be held for Silvanoshi (an Elf Prince and Hero of the War) is to be held in nearby Solace.
2. The 2 Steel Legion members are told that they will attend the funeral at the Tomb of the Heros in Solace to make sure things go smoothly. The funeral will have lots of famous DL figures and factions (such as Solomnic Knights) in it (not to mention lots of Kender hehe).
3. Before the funeral they will have time to explore Solace if they wish. During the funeral the 2 will notice one rather unique elf who seem *Ageless even for an elf*. This wil be Valthonis (elven word for exile) aka Paladine the wandering god. (He is no longer a god though) and they will also notice a red haired girl (a roll to see if either recognizes Mina) who is wearing a hooded cloak and trying to not be noticed.
4. Near the end of the funeral she will slip away and head into the mountains semi-surronding Solace heading West. They will follow her and eventually be set on by 6 Goblins in ambush.
5. Hours later they catch a glimps of Mina as she is standing at the entrance to Darkenwood Forest. She seems to be praying at the edge and then enters.
6. The 2 Knights will enter Darkenwood in pursuit and almost immediatly be set upon by the 6 spectral minions. As to how this plays out could result in battle or passing unharmed.
7. One way or another the Centaurs get involved and take them to see The Forestmaster. The 2 learn that *the Girl* and a Minotaur (and a bloodred horse) are passing through Darkenwood and no one seems to be able to stop them. At the clearing (lots of fey types here) where they will wait to meet the Forestmaster (a Unicorn) they see her talking to the *ageless elf* who after speaking and both bowing leaves. Another, Elf (the PC Druid) is also in the clearing resting. He mentions (as the player decided) that he was in Qualinost when it was destoryed and his animal campion dragged him to Darkenwood whre the Forestmaster has been watching after him. His health is shattered though.
8. The Forestmaster will explain that the Skoenoi (evil Centaurs) have been especially troublesome lately anf wish the Trio to take a special acorn into the center of thier village (some miles away in Darkenwood) and plant it. How this is accomplished is up to them.
9. Half way to the camp they are spotted by a Skoenoi patrol (3) and must deal with them before they get back to warn the camp.
10. How they complete the mission is up to them. The camp has an 8th lvl Ranger leader and lots of soldiers.
11. Upon returning to the Forestmaster they may rest as long as they like and before leaving they are each given gifts (of a foresty nature... as to what I don't know yet. The Druid will recieve a medallian we discussed... (also the druid will be told to join the trio permantly by the FM) The FM will also mention to the human fighter that she sense something great in him (he is wanting to become a paladin which will come into play later).
12. Trio led to White Rage River and must travel West along it as that is the way Mina went (Centaurs were keeping an eye on her).
13. Around nighttime they will come to what was the Elven city of Qualonisti which is now The Lake of Death. They will make camp.
14. From the green mist on the lake they will be able to make out shapes of battles being fought etc. Also, every so often they will hear sounds of battle and the occasional dragon's roar. During the beginning of the night Valthonis wil show up wanting to share the fire.
15. Val, mentions seeing Mina (he calls her Mina). Tells about how she somehow entered the cursed lake and eventually came back out with the anciant Elven weapon "Lost Star" (a really good magical sword that the Elven Queen, Laurana, used to defeat the dragon overlord, Beryl, that aided in destoying the city). Val, will explain the swords significance.
16. He mentions that the sword wil need to be retrieved and returned to the water. He also mentions that Mina seemed to be heading for Pax Thorkas, nearby. He agrees to come along (as an NPC).
17. Val, mentions using the Sla-Mori tunnels (actually ancient elven buriel site - Elf druid will know this)) to get into Pax undetected. They will go. Upon entering they will discover that the tunnels are know under the run of a clan of Gully Dwarves (this will probably anger the elf druid). As they travel they will be assaulted by a Nightwalker. They have no chance against it (well Val does ). He tells them to flee up the tunnels and he will deal with it. The Nightwalker will see him and say "Yooouuu' in recognition. The Nightwalker's presence spoils all food/potions the group may have.
18. As they travel through the tunnels they will constantly see Gulyl Dwarves who act in a Gully Dwarfish manner to them (basicaly coweredly and stupid). Most secret doors have been opened all any undead having been destoyed long ago (hence why the Gully Dwarves are here). The Ancient Elven King still rests on his throne though undisturbed. In a later room they will encounter an Otyugh and a Rust Monster who serve as the Dwarves garbage disposels.
19. Upon entering the lower levels of Pax they wil notice that it is heavily damaged and even the stairs up to the main level have been destoryed long ago.
20. In the main chamber of the lower level they will find the HighGlugh (Gully Dwarf ruler). He sits on a mound of garbage (as the Knights above use the shoot he sits under as thier garbage hole. The HighGlugh thinks it rains treasure and food here. He offers to assist the trio to the upstairs (and eventually a map of the mines cause Mina is going to Skullcap) if they bring him the Big Boss Knights helm (it make nice crown!). When they agree he will dig through his belonging and eventualyl dig out a rope.... luckily it really is magical. Witha command word it shoots up to the next level and the PC's can climb it.
21. The Main floor is alos heavily damaged but the Knights of Neraka (evil knights) are using it as a base of operations as they continue to destory the forests of Qualinost (mad elf druid) to allow for farming and human settlement. There are some guards and Knights resting etc in various room. How the PCs get through this is up to them. The Knight Captain is in his quarters with his helm hehe. They will also learn Mina and crew stopped by (she didn't come through the tunnels) for supplies and contiued East to Skullcap (Used to be the evil wizard Fistandantalus lair).
...thats what i have so far.... any flavor stuff i might add? Or changes in general?
