The Overlords are spread through the DLCS and the Age of Mortals.

One's in the DLCS. The rest are in Age of Mortals. So, not exactly spread out, but not all in one place either.

Cheers,

I'm heading out to get Age of Mortals on Thursday.

Another few tidbits of info I'd like to get....

Where can I get info on the good dragons? It seems they always get the short end, first in the WotL and then when Tak stole Krynn. There is (or was) only 1 good dragon to become an Overlord, right?

How do you, as DMs, deal with having a Knight of Solamnia in the group while the other party members are using.. less than lawful.. tactics?

I can't seem to read the DLCS fast enough hehe.

The DLCS does have a section on the personalities and general outlook of the good dragons of Krynn, although you can usually just use the information in the Monster Manual. Remember that the dragons have their own "homeland", so to speak - the Dragon Isles, to the north of the continent of Ansalon. Each dragon clan has its own island, and they live there alongside some mortals in relative harmony. This is where they all were during the Age of Might and all the way up until the point where they learned what Takhisis' minions were doing with their precious eggs.

Iyesta the Brass, the sole good dragonlord, is no longer with us (after the events of the Linsha Trilogy by Mary Herbert). Crucible, on the other hand, the elder bronze who lairs near Sanction, still is.

Not all of the Knights of Solamnia are nice at the moment, let's put it that way. Assuming your specific knight is, however, then he's going to run into conflict with the less lawful members of the party the same way a paladin or lawful good cleric might. I like the idea of a fallen knight who's struggling to regain his honor or status, and having him serve for a while in a party full of chaotic reprobates is not a bad lesson in how far he's fallen.

I know this guy, he'll want to be good Knight for sure. It's specific things that I want to know, for instance...

Can Solamnic Knights ambush an enemy force, especially one larger than themselves? The Shadowbane Inquisitor (Complete Adventurer) allows paladins to use stealth, is the reason I ask. Still, I can't much picture Sturm ambushing anyone.. but if it was a very important battle..?

Can they flee when needed? The measure of the Sword Knight says no, but I clearly remember Tanis talking Sturm into fleeing the Inn of the Last Home in order to keep his vow to protect Goldmoon, after the Seeker was healed by the Staff.

I deffinately think I want to use Kalaman. Nightlund seems like a great place for starting a campaign, plus I could use the ruins of Soth's keep for an adventure. It's near enough to Solamnia that my Knight player(s) can get their stuff all taken care of.

Thanks for all of the advice so far, and anymore would be greatly appreciated.. :)

I'm reasonable sure they revised the Measure to allow Knights to flee IF it would endanger others. But I could be wrong.
