Re:

Thanks, my friend. After the meal, I hibernated, but I'm back now, a bit sluggish, but back nevertheless. I'm really happy that you like the Kneeling Huma, it is a wonderful piece. I will be sure to pass the congratulations to the artist. Thanks also for the support, it is greatly appreciated :)

ATTENTION ALL DRAGONLANCE FANS!

Hello everyone, we've finally come to the time where we have to start calling our local comic shops and making sure that we order copies of Dragonlance issue #1. Now's the time, before final orders come in.

Khan, the cover with Huma and the Minotaur is really sweet.

I like the amount of depth you go with Huma's pose, the sword, the shield, really feels like they are in actual space. My one nitpick (i'm allowed one <g>) is that the helmet looks, feels wafer thin, plastered against the skull... unlike the sketches that you did. A micrometer more thickenss on the helmet I tthink would have given it heft.

Love the design decision of havin the negative space echo of the helmet's wings echo'd in the Taur's Horns echo'd again in the sweep of the dragon's wings. Very nifty.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

I'm happy that you like what you see, Storn, and thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated.

Here is a character sketch of Magius, does he look better with or without the beard?

I'm not sure what the character is...

but I think the ennui and air of superiority, partly done through the wonderful tilt of the head, comes across stronger without the beard. The beard softens the look... so it depends on the character, I guess....
