Dragons: MM2, etc.

A note about your listing for the dragons from Dragon #300. WOTC no longer owns Dragon might want to change the source.

As I understand it, Paizo owns the publishing rights but not the magazines. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks Crothian and Dragongirl; I've added the dragons and appropriate CRs.

Crothian, Krug, Knight Otu: I'll add the dragons if you have information and find it.

What are the PI/OGC designations for the Monsternomicon?

Edit: Does anyone know of errata changing the listings of these dragons?

Edit 2: What creature type is the dragonspawn (Monsternomicon)?

Here is a bit that you can find on the S&SS site:

Dragon, Firewrack Warm desert, mountains and underground 10 Creature Collection
Dragon, Mock Temperate and warm hill 4 Creature Collection
Dragon, Seawrack Any aquatic and marsh 6 Creature Collection
Dragon, Tar Warm hill, mountains and underground 18 Creature Collection
Dragon, Woodwrack Temperate and warm forest and marsh 12 Creature Collection
Dragonman Any land 5 Creature Collection

The Mock Dragon is not a true dragon, and I believe the Dragonman is not one, either.

I'll post the HDs and page numbers later.

At least the Tar Dragon will become a "true" dragon with age categories in the revised version.

OK, after going through my Excel lists: (Not sure which you still need, and some page counts may be missing)

Firewrack Dragon, Huge Dragon, 16 HD, Always LE, CR 10, Creature Collection 1, page(s) 54
Seawrack Dragon, Huge Dragon, 10 HD, Always NE, CR 6, Creature Collection 1, page(s) 55
Tar Dragon, Gargantuan Dragon, 30 HD, Usually LE, CR 18, Creature Collection 1, page(s) 51-52
Woodwrack Dragon, Huge, Dragon, 18 HD, Always NE, CR 12, Creature Collection 1, page(s) 56

Here is the Psionic Drake from the Psionic's Toolkit, by Sword and Sorcery Studios:
Psionic Drake, Tiny - Gargantuan, 3-35 HD, Always CG, CN, CE, CR 1-20, Psionics Toolkit, page(s) 40

A Sea Drake, from Seas of Blood by Mongoose
Sea Drake, Large Dragon, 11 HD, Usually N, CR 9, Seas of Blood, page(s)108

From Call of Chtulhu:
Hunting Horror, Huge Dragon, 20 HD, Always CE, CR 20, Call of Chtulhu, page(s) 173

Ok Dragon #296, Wurm of the Far Reaches
Wurms, Small-Huge Dragon, CR5-23 (All have the same HD)

(The main info is on pages 78-79)

Forest Wurm Pg 78-80
Tundra Wurm Pg 78-80
Sand Wurn Pg 78-81
Swamp Wurm Pg 78-79, 81
Sea Wurm 78-79, 81-82
River Wurm 78-79, 82
Grassland Wurm 78-79, 82
Hill Wurm 78-79, 83
Lava Wurm 78-79, 83-84
Storm Wurm 78-79, 84
Cave Wurm 78-79, 84-85
Mountain Wurm 78-79, 84

The Wurms in question have 4 age catagories each with a set CR:
Wurmling CR 5
Adult Wurm CR 9
Greater Wurm CR 15
Elder Wurm CR 23

The different terrains merely dictate special qualities, speed, and the type size and damage of breath weapon.

Dry

You guys rock!

Are these age categories 1-12 dragons, wyrmling = 5 and great wyrm = 23, or single age categoty dragons ranging from 5 to 23 by type?

Well they list 4 types: Wurming, Small, CR 5; Adult Wurm, Medium-Sized, CR 9; Greater Wurm, Large, CR 15; Elder Wurm, Huge, CR 23

No age categories as far as I can see.

Paizo liscenses Dragon from WOTC, but I think it unfair (and this is just my opinion) attributing anything in Dragon since their take over to WOTC.
