Dragotha (un)LIVES!!!!!

Got my McFarlane's Dragons series 6 today and the Fossil Dragon is awsome!

It is a little bigger than the WotC Black Dragon, has articulation in legs, arms and jaw, the tail is "bendy" and you can see thru the ribcage. I did have to glue the wings in place, but he is an old, undead dragon. The detail is incredible.

Oh, and the Hunter Dragon and the Ice Dragon are good too.

Just have this tempation to make the Hunter Dragon's Breath Weapon a large, entangling Hairball.

I have to admit, this one doesn't quite work for me. Their are incredible bits on the dragon, but the package as a whole just doesn't work. (The fire seems out-of-place, and the armor is distracting).

I didn't really get wowed by the others, either. The Ice Dragon might work in person, but I find that nose crest distracting. The rest of the sculpt is great.

The earlier lines were mostly great. These just don't grab me.

I'll be getting these too. That bone dragon makes me think he is possessed by the "spirit of vengeance" and gives me super wicked ideas as a result.

That Ice Dragon ROCKS!!

The flames make it look stupid.
Good news, The flame mane can be removed fairly easily by prying the glue points at the shoulder, then carefully prying off the 3rd glue point at the base of the head, wich is also the last neck spike. He is about the right size for colossal, though maybe a smidge closer to gargantuan given the habit of wotc to have some minis practically the next size class. His base is bigger than 6" x 6" though. Here is a scale reference.

Well, t scrapped the wing holes so they fit a little better.

I tryed doing a hot water, bend, cold water routine to bend one wing to a better position, which did not work.
