I have the 5e guide - it's really rich and detailed. I'm glad to see it being ported to another system so more floks can try it out. I'm also glad that WotC isn't trying to enforce exclusivity with having it on DDB.
If I was still buying stuff at the rate I was before, this would 100% be something I own. But scaling back spending made me stop. But from what I read, it sounds great.

I've heard good things about the 5e book. What I know about the setting is intriguing, but admittedly I wasn't looking for a Dark Fantasy setting at the time for 5e. I'll be interested in seeing how they adapt it to Daggerheart.

I don't own that adventure so I don't know how well it will give with DH's "play to find out" and "hold on loosely" ethos.

It's pretty sandboxy with a lot of factions that are open to the players to link into, and lots of motivations presented to be goal-forward for play. Pretty excellent, and I'm curious how they're going to wrap the complications into the GM guidance.

Yeah the factions based intrigue is very well detailed. The five factions and how they interact is basically the spine of the campaign. We’re about 60 hours in and just reached level 5 I believe. Party just started on the inner city.

I highly recommend checking this out.

It's also a good setting if you prefer a grittier style of play, as it has a mechanic to make resting difficult and thus forces players to worry more about resource management.
