They look cool, but at $20 per 3-dice set, I won't get them.

Yeah, that’s wild. There is a cheaper “just the dice” option hidden behind the $1 access tier.

Anyone have a look and report how much just the dice cost?

Incorrect, it is in the add-on section. $50 for all five sets. So $10 per set. Wish they had "just the dice" option for individual sets. I might still get one $20 set.

BTW, it's been a 2d10 roll for a long time now.

I had one of those old school d20s that went from 1 to 10, but they also had a dot on them, so you knew to add 10 to each of those sides when using it as a d20. It'd be nice to have something similar for these dice as well.

I'm sure Chessex brought it up (they might have even made the dice I used to own), but I'm guessing MCDM said nah, as Colville didn't mention it.

I was talking about the dice without those fancy collectable boxes. That kinda thing in a "blisterpack" got mentioned in the video but didn't seem to be an option in the list

Yup, like I said, it is in the add-on section.

Sometimes more is worse. D20 side are already small and doesn't everyone already have normal D20s?

Oh. That's lame. You can only order all five sets? That's me out. Oh well.

I think I've largely forgotten I even backed this game at this point. IF I play something other than DnD, it is much more likely to be Nimble (which is "simple" 5e). Though, I will give this a look again once they update the next packet (which might be the final one, who knows).

With the old ones you could also color in each set of 10 with different colors to indicate 1-10 vs 11-20. I have a few old GameScience dice that also have +s on one set of digits to do the same.
