Me too, a bit like GURPS which was supposed to be a place-holder, but it just stuck.

Don't think that's the case here. Folks at MCDM seem pretty comfortable voicing their opinions with each other.

My only (potential) problem with the name is the question of whether it reflects the game as intended to be played. That is, is Draw Steel actually an RPG with a heavy melee and martial focus? I don't know. I haven't been following the development.

It's a good name, but the best thing about it is the game. I've skimmed the Patreon packet and it looks AMAZING. Lots of narrative stuff combined with solid tactical choices, so almost like a 4E game with the necessary storytelling tools to create awesome fantasy stories at the table.

Tonight we'll get together with some friends to do character creation and we'll ve playing in the following weeks, so I'm very excited!
