Dreseden Files RPG is Awesome

I am currently running a campaign right now! It is really great! I currently have a were-bear, a wizard, a Knight of the Autumn Court, a true believer and a pure mortal. The FATE system is great, and I love how they organized both of the books. my absolute favorite part: the side notes! I would recommend this to anyone interested in modern fantasy.

I gotta say, it was alot of fun; I was able to get into a game of Dresden Files at CTCon, and it was pretty interesting, and the system (though we hardly delved into the intricacies and minutiae of character generation) was pretty easy to pick up. Definitely picking up the Character book, and maybe the World book tomorrow.

Starting our first session (character generation!) on Wednesday. Here's to hoping the store gets its shipment on Tuesday. Would rather have the books to reference than have to drag my laptop with me.

I found myself flipping through the book just for the side notes.

Pity that my FLGS only had the first volume. But my wallet thanked me.

I'm really excited about this and just picked up the books yesterday! I will be working on a campaign soon and had been considering running it a city I am familiar with as well. There is a section about creating your own city which can help with this process as well.
