Drow, Spell Resistance, and Me!

Eberron drow are very different from FR drow. Very different. They do not have "enforced" alignment.

Ah. I've heard Eberron gnomes are very different from FR gnomes. Very different. They are not medium size.

One more time, to write down. Drow. Do. Not. Have. An. Enforced. Alignment. In. Dungeons. And. Dragons. Period. They. Are. Humanoids. Not. Outsiders. Period. They. Are. Made. Of. Flesh. And. Blood. Not. Of. Chaos. And. Evil. Period. Their. Alignment. Is. Given. As. Usually. Evil. Not. Always. Evil. Period.

Why is this so damn hard to understand? A good drow is like an evil halfling. Sure, the race doesn't usually tend towards that alignment, but it's not unheard-of, and it isn't rare, either.

There have always been non-evil or even good dark elves on Toril. Even before they were drow, they didn't all turn to the Dark Seldarine. The only reason all dark elves - and not just the Illythiiri - were cursed during the Crown Wars was because Elven High Magic overcompensated as usual.
