DRUGGED ETHEREAL LIONS...Go!

GOOOOD MORNIN' EN WORRRRRLD!

So, this morning, as I was making the everso tumultuous journey from blissful unconscious sleep to waking consciousness, my mind was filled with these...words, I suppose, as there was no image to go with them.

DRUGGED ETHEREAL LIONS!

:erm: mmmhm, thinks I.

Naturally my mind begins to race...Does any edition of D&D have "Ethereal Lions" as a monster? Who/how/why would you drug them? Or are they regular lions that are drugged and happen to be on the ethereal plane? Or is there someone on the ethereal plane drugging lions? Or someone on the ethereal plane who is drugged and there's a lion after them? Or...

You get the picture.

So I thought, in the spirit of the "modules in a sentence" thread or, like, a mini-IRON DM (but its not a contest and there is no prize other than, perhaps, a few XPs and the eternal admiration of your fellow enworlders for your imagination and creativityB-)), why not throw it out there into the EN-ther and see what people can come up with.

This naturally led me to come up with other seemingly random and/or nonsensical word groups to use as well.

SO, if you're game, come up with a short synopsis -a few sentences to a couple of paragraphs at most. Stats and stuff aren't necessary. Just looking for ideas, here- for an adventure module using any of these "ideas."

[and]OR, if you prefer, add to the list of inspirations. Just 3 words. No punctuation or proper names.

1) Drugged Ethereal Lions
2) Shocker Pooka Duo
3) Shifty Milkmaid Broom
4) Pleasing Devil Baker
5) Run Mountain Run
6) Giant Toe Jam
7) Rock Queen Coal

Looking forward to reading what folks come up with. GO!
...and Happy Thursday, all.

PS: I think the true moral of the story, here, is Steel Dragons needs to watch just how late he has dinner and take care with what goes into the marinara sauce. :o But this is more fun than indigestion-driven-hypnogogic-tourette's-like-exclamations.

Drugged ethereal lions, in 3e, sound to me like they would consist of:

1. A lion.
2. The "Ghost Brute" template.
3. A homebrewed "Brainwashed Cultist" template.
