As I just learned the wild shape ability from a druid now comes from the "alternate form" special ability from the monster manual (not from polymorph).
There you can read:
> The creature retains the type and subtype of its original form.
> It gains the size of its new form
So if I understand this right, a druid stays type "humanoid" after changing into a wolf. So a potion of enlarge person would still enlarge the wolf to a large wolf? And a dire ape would get huge, wouldn't he?
Is this correct? Or is it overwritten somewhere in the druid wild shape description?
