Gospog First Post Feb 3, 2005 #1 I think this has come up before. I would appreciate a link to the old thread just as much as an answer. Anyway, my new Dry Erase board has permanant marker on it! How do I remove this scourge of good mapping? Thanks in advance. -Tom

Turjan Explorer Feb 3, 2005 #3 Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol). Works with nearly all materials and does not harm plastic.
Piratecat Sesquipedalian Feb 3, 2005 #4 I'm a big fan of giving the dry erase board to an EN World admin and then buying a new one. ...what? What? Some other battlemap threads include: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=75156 http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=73338 http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=60138 I think they're mostly about Chessex maps, though.

MerakSpielman First Post Feb 3, 2005 #8 Paint thinner works. There's no grid or anything drawn on the board, is there? 'Cause paint thinner will get rid of that too.

Gospog First Post Feb 3, 2005 #9 There's no grid or anything drawn on the board, is there? 'Cause paint thinner will get rid of that too. Click to expand... Uh oh. I guess I will try other tricks first, then. As for your suggestion, P-Cat, I don't think that's wise. It's likely that you are going to form a strong emotional aversion to the board on which your Star Wars character dies.

It's the active ingredient in what gets sold by the companies that sell the board and accessories. Here's some more information - http://www.walltalkers.com/faq_general.html Scroll halfway down to "1. What is the proper cleaning and maintenance?" Also, here's a picture of the product from NuVuRite... Attachments nuvurite_cleaner.JPG 158.2 KB · Views: 285
