dual throwing knives?

If a rogue wants to duel weild daggers, can he dual weild two throwing daggers and toss them in a turn?

IE: I walk into a room with 2 daggers in my hand, and 20 feet away is a bugbear standing, looking at the opposite wall, not noticing me. Could I toss both daggers at once? Could I sneak attack with one and throw the other? Could I use torturous strike, for instance with sneak attack damage, and then throw the other one too?

If you got an attack that allows dual wield (like some of the Ranger attacks), then you could use this, but usually two weapons don't equal two attacks in 4e
 

Each attack is a standard action, and a character only gets one standard action per turn, so the basic answer is "no".

However, it is possible! All it takes is spending an action point (if one is available) to throw the second dagger. This means the rogue can throw the first dagger (sure, with Torturous Strike and Sneak Attack, if you like) and decide afterward (based on whether he hits or not and whether or not the bugbear is already dead or not) whether or not to spend the action point.
 

The rules repeatedly state that having a weapon in your off hand does not by itself grant any additional attacks. See the section on Off-Hand weapons, the section on Two weapon Fighting and somewhere in the combat section.

You need a specific power that grants attacks with both weapons, like a lot of Ranger powers.
 

Thats why im going to take the ranger multi class feats on my rogue. I like the idea of throwing two daggers... Ever seen the matrix? Where neo reaches into his trench, grabs two knives and flings them? thats what I want to be.

char name = neo. black hair etc.
feats: quick draw, imp init, and now i see i need ranger multi class feats.

This is getting into house rule territory (since RAW doesn't support it), but if a rogue with two weapon fighting feat wants to throw two daggers at a target, I wouldn't say no, and would allow the +1 damage from the feat to apply to the attack if it hits. There would still only be 1 attack roll though.

I was about to post something very similar - except I wasn't going to give the +1 damage! :)

If someone wants to throw two knives, no problem - make one ranged basic attack roll, and deal 1[W] + Dex on a hit.

Although I'd consider the +1 for TWF as a possibility, as you suggest.

If you have Quick Draw then Improved Init is kinda a waste unless you really want that +2 increase to initiative that Improved Init has over Quick Draw.
