Dublin RPG scene?

Akrasia.......you should definitely look up Rydac when you get there! As a member of his Texas gaming group, I can vouch for his skills. A great DM, if you can talk him into running a game! We keep begging him to come home, to no avail.........

... If I can get the thing working the way I want to, I plan to send a proposal to DUNGEON, but there's no guarantee of course that it will be considered up to scratch when / if it gets there.

My rabble could probably do with some rousing, btw... :confused:

Hey that's good news. I'm wondering if you've thought about hooking up w/ the Trolls over at TLG. They've rather ambitous plans for upcomming C&C modules and I can't help but think that there are certainly other Grognards such as myself who would love to see you back in print. It seems a perfect match.

@Akrasia,

While you're there, you've got to trip over to Gogarty's in Temple Bar (or the Oliver St. John Gogarty as it's more properly known IIRC. I've probably massacred the spelling). It's a bit touristy at times, but good crack none the less especially when the sessions upstairs are good.

If I do get over I'll try to ramble into Dublin for a day or so. We typically spend most of our time in Doolin, Clifton, and Donegal town (I'm not sure what it is but the wife and I just love Donegal). I don't know if we'd have the boys w/ us or not, but either way a pint or three and maybe a game of some sort might surely be arranged.

The creative side of my brain is in serious physiotherapy at the moment. If it loosens up and starts firing again I may check out your suggestion. Thanks for making it.

Why didnt I even stumble upon this site before? :o

I moved to the outskirts of Dublin (15) myself last year, still looking for a gaming group (D&D, whichever edition.. I apparently brought a DMG, 2xPHB and MM for 3rd)

So if anyone is looking for a group, or an experienced player... drop me a line.

And Gaelcon... sounds amazing, might drop by myself.
