Duel Wielding Implements - Clarifications

First Post
Quick version: When duel wielding implements, do you gain the properties of both implements simultaneously? Can you use the Powers of the off-hand wand as well as ones in the primary wand without changing the hand its in?

In the case where an implement is worn (Holy Symbol), can a character use a second holy symbol in his off-hand if he were so inclined and gain the additional benefits? <I would assume no because this seems beyond broken to have two implements and a weapon all active at once>

Detailed Version: Lets just say you have a Dragonborn Warlock using both a Rod of the Dragonborn +3 and Rod of the Feywild +2 (both located on pg101 Adventurer's Vault). I choose these rods because they both have properties and powers associated with them.

My understanding is that if you use the +3 Rod of Dragonborn in your main hand, you use it for your attacks as you would a one handed rod.
Rod of the Feywild has a property that grants more squares of teleportation upon killing a pact boon target. Does this property trigger when successfully killing your pact boon target with the main hand dragonborn rod?

Secondly, can you use the Power of the off hand wand at any time? In this case could I use the encounter power of the Feywild wand to teleport into position, then use the daily power of the dragonborn wand without having to do anything special like change primary/offhand weapons.

Yes and no. It depends on the wording of the implement.

You can, but I don't know of any ways to abuse that.

The property of the Rod of the Feywild doesn't require you to attack with it. The only thing that needs to happen is your pact boon triggers.

Absolutely

I believe that you only cast a spell using one implement at a time (analogy to 1 hand weapon).

Assume you were talking about 2 properties, one in each implement. In my opinion only one would be used at any given attack.

Now if you could use the power of your off hand wand? In my oppinin yes, but not gaining the benefits from the main hand implement (analogy again from wielding 2 weapons).

To support these opinions we have the Dual Implement Feat, with gives some benefit from wielding the off hand implement.

I think use 2 properties, or even using a daily power from one implement while getting conctant benefit from the other would not be ok.

Again, just an oppinion here.;)

No, Holy Symbols are easily offended. As soon as you dare to wear or carry more than one, none will function in any way. That way they are more restrictive than any other type of implement.

Thanks for the help! My campaign is getting to the point of introducing +2 weapons, so I just assume the casters will continue using their +1 weapons in their offhand and wanted to be clear what they can and can't do.

Which is perfectly okay, because they're also the only implement you don't have to hold to wield. If you could wear/hold any combination of holy symbols, it would get a little out of hand.

But your devoted cleric can, for example, wear a Symbol of Divine Reach and hold a Defensive Staff to get the properties of both. (And in this case, unless the cleric multiclassed into Invoker, all they could get from the Defensive Staff is the property as they can't use a staff implement but they can use a quarterstaff.)

You must be able to use a staff as an implement to gain the properties of the staff. PHB 240-241

Could you use a combination of (I think) the Rod of Reaving and the Rod of Corruption? One Rod does its enchantment in damage when you Curse a target; the other lets you Curse every enemy in a burst 5 of a dying cursed enemy rather than taking your Pact Boon. Could you use this pair to effectively Minion-sweep the board for one Minor action? Does this seem especially powerful to anyone else?

Rod of Corruption said:
Property: Whenever your pact boon is triggered, instead of taking its normal benefit you can transfer your Warlock’s Curse to each enemy within 5 squares of the original target.

Rod of Reaving said:
Property: When you place your Warlock’s Curse on a target, the creature takes 1 damage.
