Duelist Rogue?

First Post
I've just started playing a halfling rogue that I'm flavoring as a duelist who wields a dagger in one hand and a rapier in the other. So far I've picked the following feats / traits:

Artful Dodger
Piercing Strike
Sly Flourish
Positioning Strike
Blinding Barrage
Tumble
Nimble Blade
Weapon Proficiency (Rapier)

I'm considering:

Two weapon fighting
Two weapon defense
Backstabber
Ranger multiclass feat (Hunter's Quarry)
Defensive Mobility

Does anyone have any suggestions for feats, powers, or paragon paths to pick up? I saw someone mention reflavoring Shadow Assassin as a duelist, I'm AFB but I'll look at that later. I'm interested in both RAW and homebrew stuff anyone's put together.

Since you don't really attack with the off hand at all, Parrying Dagger makes sense there. This is basically just spending another feat for an extra AC (but not to Reflex as well), much like Two Weapon Defense. A slightly cheesy workaround to avoid spending the feat would be to buy a cheap +1 Parrying Dagger(Lvl 2, 520gp) with the Mage's Weapon property from AV page 72.

I was looking for a duelist type character a la Inigo Montoya or the Dread Pirate Roberts and 4E really doesn't offer it. So what I've done works on an aesthetic level. I'm playing a 2 weapon ranger that uses one weapon, but gets the benefits of any two-attack powers as if he was holding another weapon. It's pretty cool. The only caveat is that if I pick up or hold anything in my off hand I can't use my 2 weapon powers. Also there is a small issue of having one magic weapon be more effective than one magic weapon would be in the hands of a true 2 weapon ranger.

My character is, mechanically, a Human Brutal Scoundrel Rogue.

Narratively, he's a chandelier-swinging, ladies-charming, swashbuckler in the best tradition of Zorro, or the Errol Flynn Robin Hood...

This was achieved using only the 4E Player's Handbook, no problems

Multiclassing to Ranger and picking up a two-weapon encounter or daily attack power is great fun.

Martial Power has two paragon paths that might fit: Halfling Quickblade and Rakish Swashbuckler.

Bite the bullet and go paragon multiclassing into ranger. You can't argue with Twin Strike, and you get a bunch of other TWF powers too. It might not be perfectly optimized, but it's a fun build.
