Some people may find having their souls sucked from their bodies to be a down side. YMMV, of course.

But your point is valid: if you're gonna have an evil supervillain, best that we geeks benefit from their world domination plans.

i really doubt that drMidnigth has that much know how to develop a runebeam that can suck out the soul... rather- I think it is highly plausable that the runebeam works off of geek aura- the energy (whether positive or negative) that we all put out.

He would harness that energy and concentrate it into a geek beam- thereby leaving geeks unaffected- and forever resequencing the DNA of nongeeks - turning them into gamers...

The Boston EN Day had only 6 to 10 people!? At the EN Chicago Game Day in January we had about 22 people.

I am busy with a few things right now, including prepping for the next IR thread, but I think this is a good idea. Obviously we can't all be in the same place, but I think it is a good idea if we meet with each other. The Chicago event was a blast, even though I was running off of about 3 hours of sleep. (I could still do fairly complex math in my head, so it wasn't that bad.)

Well, to our credit, it really isn't a "Game Day." It's a bunch of local EN Boarders getting together to game. Not quite as formal.

Technically my house can hold three or four separate games at once, but the date is bad for a bunch of folks, so we're just running the one game. Lots of fun anyways - and I get to play!
