I'll be helping out at the Cheapass games booth on Sunday afternoon. If you'll be running a Cheapass or SJG event, please PM me.

Edit: List which events you'll be running (include times and numbers) and/or plan to attend.

Second Edit (: DDC website: www.dundracon.com DDC will be held in San Ramon, CA, Feb 14-17.

Random thought: Printout out the EnWorld logo and tape it to your badge so we can ID each other!

ced1106 - I along with most of the people I game with will be there the entire weekend.

I'm not scheduled to run anything this year as I knew I wasn't going to have time to put anything together since I'm in the middle of running RTTTOEE every week.

Tsunami - it is Feb 14th (friday) thru the 17th (monday) at the San Ramon Marriot Hotel.

I'll do my best to have a tag for my name tag.

Hey, JDragon, you're the one who talked me into going last year. I'll talk with my fellow gamers to see if I can't raise some volunteers for this year.

System: HackMaster
Power Level: 3rd-5th

Type: RPG
Characters can be provided by GM

Solve the mystery of the threat to the town of Norgan. The Grand Tarcham Swamp is growing and no one knows why.
704 Cursed Ruins of the Last Dwarf-King

GM: Steve Willett
Sunday 10:00 PM in room 168 for 8 hours

System: OAD&D
Power Level: 7th-9th

The Throat of Moradin lays open to any brave enough to pierce its mysteries. None have emerged to reveal them, including the fate of The last Dwarf-King.

I'm going; I checked out the schedule...

That most heinous of game descriptors seems to be in wide use this year: "Players must provide own characters". To me this equals "AVOID THIS GAME".

I really don't want to spend any of the limited amount of time alotted for the con-sponsored games having some less-than-completely-honest smelly person passionately whine that his 14th level moonblade-wielding bad@$$ really would be appropriate for this 3rd level, story-based game. Been burned by this sort of thing a few too many times, I must say.

Con games should be in-out-done FUN. GMs that make the effort to include characters for their micro-stories are aces in my book.

Looking forward to another year of gamer-geeks invading mormon-hotel!

hahah :) I've been going to DunDracon off and on for about six years now and I have to laugh at this totally true statement :) Could you imagine staying in that hotel without any "gaming experience," and trying to figure out why people are running around with Armour on, or pretending to be vampires :D All kidding aside, I'm looking forward to this years con, although anymore I just go to see my scattered gaming friends.

p.s. the breakfast buffet in the hotel is excellent, and should not be missed. :)

Looking forward to my first Dundracon. I hope to be there for some or all of Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Does anyone know if RPGA events will be played this year? There's nothing on the Dundracon schedule yet, and nothing on the RPGA website.

The RPGA seems to have very little presence at DunDraCon for some reason. (at least in the past)

One reason may be that DunDraCon likes to have their sponsered games be 6 hours plus, while RPGA is set up for 4 hour slots. (At least from what I've seen at Cons that RPGA has been at)
