Dungeon #126. Anyone have it yet?

OR...

You could just mandate they MAKE characters of that level to run higher level games.

I'm just offering that as idear.
Sorry, obviously, I was unclear. What I mean is that a Build-Your-Own-Module article would be more readily costomizable to a particular group of PCs (melee-oriented vs. investigative vs. spellcasting dependant vs. riddle-solvers) or a particular group of players (those who only build one of the above groups or who have run through the adventure before and loved it.)

As for running a published adventure for another party level, that's no problem. Normally, I would just do as you suggest and tell the players what level party to build, but for Dungeon magazine adventures, of course, there is the "scaling the adventure" sidebar.

I think that the ease of scaling for different levels is a brilliant innovation for Dungeon. What I want to see is greater ease of customization for things besides level.

Got mine today.

Have you ever had an adventure just wander up to you and say "plunder me"? Blood of Malar is about to meet that grisly fate...

[sblock]As some of you may know if you have ever heard my speak of my various tidbits of my campaign, there are no living lycanthropes on my prime game world.

Undead is another matter. I have defined "wurdulaks" (a creature from east European folklore) as werewolves with the vampire template.

Blood of Malar features such a creature (multiple, in fact.) And I had just finished a session where the behind the scenes villain was supposedly such a creature.

Right now, I am considering retooling the adventure and running it tomorrow. Or, at the very least, ripping off all the stat blocks.[/sblock]

Yesirree, I'm gonna mug that adventure, leaving it's bruised body in the alley...

Wow. I'm looking forward to Blood of Malar even MORE now. :) Especially with that new info.

*motions Psion to email him*

I can't imagine that I'm the only one with this problem.
I'd say you are (caution! wild and fun internet speculation!).

According to my adventure database I keep at home (for ease of inserting modules into my campaign), 1st level adventures are already over-represented (as are 5th, 6th, and 7th levels).

I got mine yesterday (yeah, I know yesterday was Sunday) ;) . I don't know when it actually arrived. It got misplaced in the vehicle of the person who gets my mail for me. But if I had to guess, I'd say it arrived Wednesday the 3rd, as I got my water bill on the 2nd.

Dammit, dammit, dammit....say, is Georgia still part of the continental U.S? Cuz if not, that' might explain things....

got my copy last night. so that makes 3 weeks from ship date.

i'll say it again, and again, and again.

paizo needs to change their policy to 2-4 weeks delivery. not 2 weeks.

diaglo "who's avg delivery time is just under 4 weeks since nov 03" Ooi

Got mine today. For the record, that's 22 days after ship.

5 >> 10 >> 14 >> 22

I can't explain the lengthening delay in the delivery pattern but - I do have my issue of #126 - and that's what matters. :)
