Anyone who has the 1st edition Monster Manual has no excuse for not knowing about the poor, neglected masher!

Masher = poison giant wormfish
Mother of All = vine horror generating plant monster
Living Shipwreck = hermit crab that uses ships for shells

The latest Dungeon arrived in my mailbox today. Before I get into the details of the issue, I wanted to make sure to plut the four-panel poster map of The Sea Wyvern, the ship the PCs use in this month's Savage Tide adventure, that came with the magazine.

Is it to scale of 1" boxes for use with minis?

B/C if so, I am picking it up for that alone.

Not to mention another Richards adventure -- dude, you do great work!
Well, thanks, Olgar! I have to admit, I was a little nervous about this adventure, as it's the first really high-level adventure I've ever written, and I felt a bit like I was straying into unfamiliar waters while writing it. I can't wait to see it in print for myself.

My main interest is in the Savage Tide adventure, which sounds pretty neat (hermit crab using ships as shells? Probably time to read up on grapple rules). It's going to be tough not running it right away (I'm trying to delay my ST game a little, both so I can make use of the related info from the next Dragon, and so I have a little buffer so I don't have to say, "I'm running Sunday... if my issue arrives in time.)
