Anyone who has the 1st edition Monster Manual has no excuse for not knowing about the poor, neglected masher!

Masher = poison giant wormfish
Mother of All = vine horror generating plant monster
Living Shipwreck = hermit crab that uses ships for shells

Unfortunately I don't, I started in 2E.

Living Shipwreck sounds awesome, I can't wait to get my Dungeon to make use of that beast.

Kudos on including a monster installment in Dungeon now. Reminds me of the good ol' days when WotC used to post "Monster Mayhem" articles on their D&D website. :D

I just have a soft spot for Tamoachan. I don't know what's in it, really - how much is a conversion, and how much is new, and all - but I'm already preparing for it. And I don't think I'll be running it for a month or two at least. In fact, Tamoachan was one of the main reasons I started the AP.

I plan on putting the hermit crab/crayfish "gods" in the adventure, and maybe using them as recurring NPCs. When I re-read the adventure (I actually have a mangled copy on my girlfriend's desk right now), they leapt out at me as just crazy, 1e-style fun NPCs.

You know, for the first time ever, I'm looking forward more to Dungeon Mags than Dragon mags. Friggin' awesome, eh?

The Tamoachan section is all new, but it quite definately draws and builds upon the flavor and style of the original, down to and including a fight with a fire-breathing bat (including a cool new imagining of the classic illo of said fire-breathing bat). It takes up about a quarter of the adventure. It's not huge, but it's cool.

Holy :):):):)! You received the December issue of Dungeon already? I haven't even got my November issue yet...

They are all sounding so great, the waits are killing me! :D

Me neither. In fact, in the last two months, I've had two of my Paizo subscriptions not show up at all.
Hey - same with me! (And, exactly so, in the last two months). Actually, devilbat, I was going to ask you the question in the other Dragon/Dungeon thread (the price one) when I saw you post.

Weird. I do know that the USPS is pretty bad/incompetent when they have to deal with 'uncommon' events (read: anything that has to do with... well... any border), but I haven't had any problems with Dungeon/Dragon in years - except for the last 2 months or so, when it's now suddenly gotten bad.

(Glad to see someone else in the same boat. Well, not glad, but YKWIM... :D)
