Dungeon #150

Bargle!!!!! That was the first adventure I ever DMed (running it for my nine-year-old brother that I'd coerced into playing with me). Good memories; I can't wait to see the update!

The only klurichir in "Prince of Demons" is Gromsfed the Drowned, Demogorgon's War Secretary-General.

Cool, that's what I wanted to know. I'd like to see how they patched up that demon from the mess it was given in Fiend Folio.

And I remember the Fiend-Sage now from those Living Greyhawk Journals. Thanks for reminding me.

You might have to do a bit of reverse engineering. Gromsfed has the Drowned One template (making him undead; Dungeon #106) and is a 4th-level warchief (Miniature's Handbook).

I haven't even recieved 149 yet. I wonder whether there is again a problem with European shipping. :goes to check the Paizo boards:

Edit: Yes, there is. :(

They should do what the comic companies do when they need a boost.

Relaunch with issue number 1!

Captian America returns, or something like that.

Too bad it wn't happen with Dungeon :-(

That I can do. It's really more about the wording of its special attacks, special qualities, and attack routine that was really jumbled up in Fiend Folio that I'm interested in seeing how they patched up in Dungeon.

Hence my decision to never support WOTC's "electronic initiative" to replace this great magazine.

If they do a print version, I'll likely change my mind. But electronic? Never.

Same goes for Dragon.

Man, this depresses me. :(

, St. Kargoth the Betrayer, and finally Demogorgon himself, to stem the Savage Tide? The battle This is the battle that will decide who becomes the new Prince of Demons! Appendices cover new magic items and artifacts (acid launcher, blast disk, Demogorgon's Bilious Sphere, force missile ballista, Skull of Kallum, and the totem of negation), as well as full stats for Arendagrost. Sidebars cover difficult terrain on the beachhead, eladrin aid for the PCs during the battle, and how to weaken Demogorgon at the final conflict.

What sword is St. Kargoth weilding? Is it the Shatterer?

Well, OK ... but if the electronic magazine format fails, we shouldn't expect the print magazine to return. The modern print magazine business is much, much more expensive to start up in today than it was in 1976, and if Wizards were to try to resume print operations a year from now, that's what they would be regarded as: a new magazine.

I think the best approach is to check out what Wizards offers, while supporting offshoots like Kobold Quarterly and Pathfinder - it might not be what we're used to, but it's what we've got. But hey, it's your money, and I respect that. :)
