With a name like sebaceans, I imagined them as giant zits or something. Sebaceous and all.

I think you are right about the naming conventions. 3E had Kaortic cysts and Far realm cankers, so that would be keeping with precedence.

The things growing like giant pimples beneath the ground and bursting forth in sprays of vulgar fluids sounds kinda cool too.

Vine masses cover the southern island, which has a humanoid like a massive banyan tree covered in dark chitin and with glowing multifaceted eyes.
