A few months ago, there was a thread on here about Dungeon Crawls in d20 Modern. I have no search capability, so would someone be kind enough to point me to it? Thanx! :)

Unfortunately, no. :( It was a thread on how you could introduce Dungeon Crawls into a d20 Modern environment. People were putting suggestions on how you could do it.

Thanks though. :)

Well, let's start a new one then!

I think the obvious first place to start would be the sewers. Long have comic books, cartoons and movies used sewers as the breeding grounds and domiciles of creatures ranging from exiled man to mutant insects. It's a dark, damp, disgusting environment with labarynthine structure. In many ways it is the modern evolution of a dungeon (as far as we're concerned... They were meant to serve very different purposes... But who cares?)

Then there are also catacombs, tombs, etc. Egyptian Pyramids, Aztec/Mayan Pyramids, etc.

We did one that was held in the underground service area for a sewage treatment facility, and it was great fun.

Everyone was terrified the whole time that we were going to spring a trap where the ceiling opened up and flooded us with, um, well, sewage.

We have done a run through the sewers under the city we live in also which was great fun. Note to self: do not detonate powerful explosives while in the sewers. Enclosed space and all that.

I haven't done any dungeon crawls with d20 Modern yet, but back in the day I did a dungeon crawl with GURPS: Cyberpunk. The PCs were hired to blow up a research facility. First they had to get into the heart of the facility-a complex multi-level structure. There were guards and booby traps, not unlike a typical D&D dungeon.
