Wish I'd thought of it? But I did, just don't have the resources. Maybe in a few years, TV will be ready for this, but I just don't know...

"Dungeon Majesty" is a cable-access TV show in Southern California (where else?) of four young women sitting around a table playing Dungeons & Dragons with a male DM. Except intercut with the video of them playing is more video of the women in costume as their characters, acting (sort of) with not-so-special effects and . . . well, you just have to see it to believe it. I can say without any qualification whatsoever that this is the best TV programme ever made. In fact it's probably the best thing thing ever.

watched the trailer... excellent! They need to broadcast on the web, or one of the tech channels needs to pick it up for late nights.

What a cool idea for a "late/talk show"... You get like 3 regular players and a GM and then a "guest player" comes in for a week worth of shows. You could have major figures from the industry, celebs who RP...

And as strange as it is, I know I'd watch it.

I'm embarrased to be a geek. Somehow, watching people play D&D just doesn't do it justice ... especially when the DM's wearing a cape. I mean, a cape! WTF?! I didn't get one with my RPGA membership!
