Dungeon Majesty: D&D on cable?

Ah geez. This is so awkward. You know these girls aren't gamers and are just acting for the show.

And to top it off it's FOUR attractive girls as players and they even dress them up in skimpy clothes and use the Baywatch slow-mo shots. If I knew 4 good looking women, I'm not going to invite them over so I can DM for them!

Who am I kidding, yes I would. The worst part about this is it's cheaply done. We have the typical goofy average Joe surrounded by 4 women pretending to be into D&D & wanting to play with this guy...sure, that's believable. Thanks for reminding me why I always feel embarassed to tell people I play D&D :\

"Naw man, we're not geeks...have you seen the official D&D TV show? It's more macho than football because our cheerleaders are actually the players!"

I actually... yeah D&D is not a game to be watched, it just looks so bad from the outside. Im thinking maybe they should be using some pre-written mods, or he needs to work on his flavor-text. Screw normal D&D, all epic battles if it's gonna be on a show. I mean, hell, it takes 6 hours to get 3 fights IMC, not much in the way of good television.

You know, this might actually be entertaing if:
A) the DM didn't suck and
B) the girls actually did some role-playing and
C) there was actually a plot to the campaign

It's funny, because the girls probably aren't gamers for real, but they seem to actually enjoy it on the show.

The short-haired girl is kind of cute. But then, I have a thing for short haired girls. Even if she is a cleric/necromancer, whatever the heck that is.

Someone needs to tell them that they are mispronouncing coup de grace

Kudos for them for teaching people how to game, though. One could watch this show enough and figure it out over time.

It's someone who's decided to spice up their games with a little LARPing and televising it. Think of it this way: Further proof that attractive women play D&D. Also, the dude in the cape, but, um. Yeah.

Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if, say, Japan or Europe had a D&D-oriented game show. Wouldn't give people the right impression, but would still be fun as heck to watch.

Host: "Ohhh, you didn't hit the ogre. You know what that means, audience!"
All: "They get GELATINOUS CUBED!"
