So what's the deal with solo gaming?

Four Against Darkness is not an RPG. It's stands somewhere between a dungeon crawl generator and a board less wargame. I found it rather dull and repetitive.

Solo Gritty Survival: Ker Nethalas, Order of Eventide and The Adventurer (by Kenk) are three good ones.

D100 Dungeon, is a classic solo fantasy RPG. It has many expansion books that now cover overland hex-crawl and world building.

There are many others. You can sift through the Geek Gamers channel. She has a great selection. geek gamers

I tried this one - it seemed a bit clunky with searching through pages for the (what happens next) keyword, and I think I got a bit bored with it once I went in a circle without stumbling across how to get to the next major clue / plot point.

Did anyone play it through to the end and have a good experience? Maybe I should give it another look.
