Can Fractal Mapper use a plotter? I have had trouble with this in the past. I have access to a plotter and would like to output maps on one big sheet rather than having to print 10 pages.
Just wondering if any of you had tried it.

I never tried it, but as you can export in BMP, you should be able to use the program you usually use to print using your plotter...

Well dang! I guess I should finish reading the help files, eh? I didn't realize you could export. That takes care of the only complaint I had.

It's worth noting, I think, that I've produced about 6 maps for my campaign using Fractal Mapper, and my players keep oooing and aahhing over how pretty the maps are. Trust me, this is not due to my skill.

Would you mind e-mailing me a map or two? I've been looking at buying this program but would like to see some more examples besides the handful on their website.

...Stay away from those silly hex filling programs...

Hey now! I admit they are not quite suitable for dungeon maps but hex mapping porgrams do have a certain charm and usefulness in their own right particularly with regards to quick and simple overland maps.
