No - actually it is one of the books I'm most looking forward to next year.

There's a lot to good DMing, and the DMG, good though it is, doesn't cover it all.

Cheers!

It could be good...could be bad. There really isn't enough to assume either way.

It's got Robin D. Laws writing it! How could it go wrong?

Cheers!

I wonder if I should bother hoping that it has some of those alignment variants that were mentioned during the summer of 2000 as being in the 3e DMG (but weren't). :)

I see Robin D. Laws is attached.

I hope he covers some of the same ground from Robin's Laws of Good Gaming.

I'd like to see some instant use stuff, as a DM instant NPC's and instant stats are useful crunch. And some DM oriented fluff, like RLoGG's advice on how to be a better DM and run a better game.

I don't know what the ratio is between the two... but some of both is required to purchase.

It would be interesting to see if it has stuff for DM's in epic level settings.
I don't know about an "epic level setting", but I could use more and more advice on how to challenge higher and higher level characters. It's a very steep learning curve.

Hmm... *looks at his bookshelf* ... HeroQuest, The Dying Earth RPG.... sounds promising :)!
